The easiest way to be an Airbus operator is to buy an Airbus operator. With the Denver battleground, I predict Frontier has to be on the top of SWA’s shopping list.

Poor Herb rolls in his grave.... but there is actually a precedent for an LCC to change its stripes. About 15 years ago EasyJet in the UK -essentially a flattering imitation of SWA -began a transition from 737's to Airbus. Its the most interesting "who's gonna buy us" idea i've heard in a while..

I figured as much. Can’t wait till 3rd quarter to announce 2 bases in the same physical year. No surprise here.

Which base grows then? Aircraft and new hires are still coming. I’ve heard philly is full now.
