+1 for guys who had to give notice to their employer for contractual reasons and now finds themselves in this slightly fuzzy pool. Has anyone heard if there is a May class? If so how many slots?

I came here to use it as a stepping stone a little over three years ago but now I’m here to stay. The money is decent and my QOL is much better than when I was doing the regional grind. Just don’t expect to come here and be treated like an asset. Management does not see you as such. If you’re at peace with that, it’s a decent career.

They are running a May class, one of my friends from my interview class was invited. As to how many slots, I am unsure.

It’s definitely better than a regional (for me anyway). I agree with the sentiment above, but it’s still better. Management’s attitude towards labor is not better. What’s better is the pay, the fact that we’re not subject to the whims of legacy airline management while opening and closing bases to accommodate the changes in flying, and arguably the work rules (specifically the schedule flexibility). Another thing that’s better for me, but very subjective, is the bases.

Well said.

Your not the only one that seems to have terrible timing in career moves. As frustrating as this is for all of us now in the pool. We just have to remember the big and long term pictures. A few month delays hopefully will just be a spec in a 20+ year career at frontier.

On the bow wave of the biggest growth spurt the airline has ever seen and less than six months after the ink dries on a new contract and you think you’re jinxed because you are delayed a month or two? Have a beer and chill, bro!
