Split folder. I’m all for getting rid of it. Unfortunately, we have a ton of pilots that use it on a regular basis and it does help make it easier to set the days off you want. I call it the rig killer/open time processing nightmare as all split request have to be done manually. Part of the reason processing opentime takes forever. Personally I’ve used it almost never and I’ve never killed a rig with it.

Probably about the same time UAL starts asking for concessions and increasing regional scope.

United won’t be taking any concessions or giving up scope. I guess you will be working under that contract for a while. Hopefully it’s a good one.
Kirby loves his RJs. Especially the E175s. He has a 1990s mentality. As far as the F9 contract goes it is a really good one. New planes, lots of growth, quick upgrades and good bases. I will easily make 350K this year and home most nights and enjoy the company of the people I work with. Not really much else to ask for. |

What really gets me is someone peeeling off a turn from a good 4 day, then subsequently dropping it. I personally have never split a trip, and would love to see it go away in exchange for something that benefits everyone.

P.S. just because Kirby likes RJ’s doesn’t mean he gets more of them. |
