If your question is "How long could a new hire expect to be on RSV in PHL?"
-From 'none' to around a year. Thats the the 2019 reality. I know people in both camps.
2020 will likely be less. But it does look like, at least for the Spring, MIA is going to be more junior, although most airlines NE bases are least desirable. (SWA at BAL is one exception; I understand it goes somewhat senior as it's the only East Coast base..)
If you plan six months you'll likely be either holding or close I imagine..

Thanks. I really want to come to Frontier but trying to sell my wife on taking a 20k pay cut my first year is an uphill battle. So trying to explain to her how quick I can come off reserve and get a high credit month helps my argument. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I am well aware it is a small price to pay and I am all for it. My wife doesn't see that though, even after the spreadsheet I made literally highlighting green and red comparing my current job to 10 years at Frontier.

How on earth does she not see the numbers? Show her the total career difference with a projected 401K. That’ll help.

I did the same thing 4+ years ago and don’t regret it one bit. Still an FO and making almost double what I was making as a boss at a 91 job. My QOL is better than any corporate gig thanks to firm schedule, no call, job security, lack of “pilot” duties, etc. Really is a no brainer and I regret not doing it sooner.
