AVA can be extended. Mutual agreement. Which would be a good thing imo. Think how Ava will look in May with the majority of lines being turns. We’re talking original footprints in hrs not days. I’ll take one chance to reassign by 930 day prior for that. There’s almost zero downside to Loa 16. I’m planning on a May and June cola myself so I’m happy with that agreement.150k a year to not work while 10’s of millions are losing their jobs. Hard to complain about that.

Will they fly us in for landing school within 90 days when you are close to expiring for 3 take offs and landings in the sim.. ?
Never thought I had to ask this question again since coming of the WB in a previous life..

I think the company has a 3 month waiver on pc/pt? As far as takeoff and landings that probably does not apply but it might? That’s probably going to be dealt with shortly I’m guessing. There’s other training issues that need to be discussed. Their trying to avoid the nightmare of having potentially 800/1000 pilots dequal the same month or 2. Makes the ramp back up much more difficult because everyone will be using thier sims at the same time. Right now it’s hard to get non den based pilots to training events due to all the cancellations and contactual requirements. This is why you see the grace month cola restriction.

Screw you.... for years we fought for this contract. When things get tough we are all of a sudden giving things up we fought for???
I get the bid is delayed, fine. But the rest? Ummmm.... Indigo can go screw itself. We are a blip in the finances of Indigo. I am not feeling bad for them and this LOA is BS.

welcome back to the **** show. There’s quite a few that ring in quite often that offer they’re opinions of the great unknown. I suggest popcorn before you begin your journey amongst the know everythings future telling with no base back up. Instead of sitting back and watching where the chips fall, no can do. They must spend their entire life here typing their hearts away. I must admit I frequent this more than normal due to the world losing its mind. But, intelligent pilots joining the club... well I just have to stand back and watch it go out the window at that point 🤦♂️

The FAA has shown willingness to extend relief (grace) to operators; and who can predict the size of the daily operation in 3 months anyway. That bridge will be crossed in 90 days.
Stay home. (fly a turn; go home again)
stay safe...

Regarding 90 day currency, the company could allow pilots in their 3rd consecutive COLA month to come to work sometime during their 3rd month and fly a single turn, to prevent them from dequalifying.
The company could even make it a requirement of accepting a 3rd consecutive COLA, that the pilot be required to pick up a turn sometime during the month to prevent from dequalifying.
