A green slip, eh? Sounds like something old and moldy. Now, a pink slip... Now that sounds like something desirable!

Got it. Thanks. The ability for an airline to overnight it’s entire fleet within their bases only is an interesting logistic. But, having as many bases as you guys have would make it significantly easier.

Yeah. I'm curious how Frontier would convert the airline to a day trip system. They would have to open a bunch of new small bases and make people move. That's going to take some time. Unless they plan to merge with Allegiant.

You sure are beating the merger drum loudly. We aren’t supposed to tell you, but in F9 ground school they’ve been telling us Allegiant is being spun-off. Your management would rather build resorts and name grass inside empty stadiums. Don’t shoot the messenger but ALPA merger policy will not apply...we will let you keep the stapler when we are done.

In all seriousness though, imitation is a form of flattery so you guys must be doing something right.

Oh man, now you did it. You talked and put a target on your back to get Jimmy Hoffa’d by management. Legend has it, the foundation of the crystal palace is filled with those who knew too much.

Are red-eye turns legal in the F9 contract? That would be the only way to make day schedules work. Sitting all night in base (like the Allegiant planes usually do) doesn't pay the bills for brand new planes.

Oh yes. Not just quick hops either. For example, the February ORD bid pack has some ORD-LAS and ORD-PHX redeye turns in it.

the first leg on those does not meet the contractual definition of a redeye. I’m Not saying thier easy but the only thing you can do after a contractually defined redeye leg is rest.

There’s also a shorter duty than 117 and a rdp protection but can’t remember the numbers. I’m really not looking to correct people just put the info out there so pilots don’t accept contractually illegal assignments. It killed us last contract.
