PHX, RDU and ONT next. Possibly EWR for pilots.
PHX then RDU!

Last time I was in CLE we had literally 5 airplanes parked at the gates. Looked busier than Philly most days.

CLE definitely seems more logical than RDU but what pilots think is logical doesn’t always align with the Emerald Palace. If (big IF) management truly does factor in ease of commuting and attractiveness for relocation when deciding on a base CLE starts to lose its luster.

Seems like PHX will never happen as long as it’s what pilots WANT!

Number of destinations is irrelevant if we are servicing them 2-3 times per week, on top of that seasonally

Oh okay. I'll look for United, American, and Delta to set up bases in MCO, RSW, LAS, and TPA too then. Swing and a miss.

Different business models. The airlines you mentioned run more hub and spoke that allow a substantial amount of connections. We run more point to point. And would therefore set up domiciles in cities with high passenger traffic.

What's your point? Swing and a miss my a$$

Where's Spirit? JetBlue? Sun Country? Southwest? Don't see them rushing to set up bases all over Florida. Another whiff.

It's not a stretch to say bases with high amounts of volume can be optimal bases.

There's a reason we don't have an Anchorage base... we don't fly there.(yet)
