MIA-LGA flt cancelled for masks
Anyone got the scoop on what happened on flt 2878 tonight? One of my flight attendants said a whole flight was cancelled because of some mask incident with a baby.

This looks like media sensationalism to me. Frontier is on the record having said this did not stem from an 18 month old, yet that is a footnote in the article. I hope the company puts out a memo at some point that tells the full story, but I’m skeptical of the above article.

Members of a large group, including adults, refused to wear masks as flight 2878 was preparing for departure from MIA-LGA. Repeated requests to comply with federal law necessitated their removal from the flight. The issue did not stem from a child under 2.

Oooof.... just saw the Twitter videos and it doesn't look good for us. Too bad the internet doesn't wait for all the facts, but the internet juries seem to have issued their verdicts.
Things F9 management needs to clarify ASAP, why if it was a large group, is it only a family of 3 from the very back getting off? and why are there so many passengers backing up the family's claim? and why is the father in the video shown double masked? Double maskers as far as I know aren't people who refuse to wear masks.

Also, Frontier wouldn’t cancel a revenue flight over an infant not wearing a mask - at an age their web site specifically says is ok not to wear one.
There’s way more to this story.
