they would both fly to Dom Rep and spend a week at a resort together, then fly home, to/from on separate dates and airlines

Most Junior captain is now a Feb 23' hire in SJU. We also have stateside captains in Chicago as a Jan 23' hire. Crazy times. I would be inclined to say that this might be good for negotiations but who knows. Frustrating to have our mediator cancel our session today relatively last minute but hopefully it's rescheduled soon.

Lot of ppl bypassed. And why not? Why would you wanna be a Jr. captain at this company with all the jerking around they've done the last year.

A LOT of people bypassed / downgraded.... I couldn't imagine upgrading any time in the next year.
