1. well can’t we just finish our current negotiations before starting the joint contract? If they want it done fast, then staying the course and 2. not letting them merge until we finalize getting some gains and then work on getting the joint contract with more gains.
2. Not letting them merge? We don’t have that power. All we can do is follow the process and that will probably mean going right up to a strike. If we want a contract done faster, IMO, a merge is the best way to do that. |

We can have a contract next week. It’ll just be concessionary after agreeing to everything BB wants. |

Would there be a retro check if we went directly to a JCBA? Or does that get conviently glossed over?

I keep hearing merger talk but as far as we know F9 and NK are in a game of chicken where nobody will flinch and the ship finally sails. I imagine F9 just occasionally sends a message "is this available" and then ghosts NK when they reply.

I agree on both your posts. |

According to what happened last week, it sounds like NK’s pimp (debt holders) got in the way they wanted more money from F9 before taking NK home to have their way with her. |

not sure if this is a good analogy.

Use whatever analogy suits you. Using your alaogy: at some point the pimp is going to sober up and realize he's with an ugly chick. There is just no telling if it's before the bar closes or the next morning in her apartment.
The point is the same, until we hear otherwise there is no merger. But yeah. No kidding. It’s not final until you’re past V1. That’s true for anything in aviation. |
