It wouldn't be any of that. A strike vote is just a vote. Its simply the next step in the process. If a strike or something close to that were to happen its well over a year down the line. A vote however will be coming in the next few months (according to the MEC). Its more of a annoucment that we are fed up, at least thats my understanding. Someone with more knowledge please correct me if Im wrong.

I understand that a strike vote is just a vote. I was more asking that if the NMB released us to self-help, and nothing happened after the cooldown period, would the ensuing strike be indefinite until we get a TA or would it be an intentionally short-lived strike (assuming that we actually got there)?

Sorry, my wording sucked.

If we ever got to a real strike, which is unlikely, it would be a full strike until a TA is reached or the company goes out of business, whichever comes first. They will come to the table real quick.

We need a everyone to vote yes on the strike. We must show management that we know what we are worth. 100% turnout, 100% yes. Show the company and the NMB wheres we are at.

while I agree that a stike vote is important, I think since the PROBABILITY of an actual strike occurring is dismally low, I am not sure a strike vote carries the weight it rightfully should, with current Frontier management.
