Is it basically 68 years old ? I haven’t been able find it and everyone is calling it age 67. Let’s say you start to fade with cognitive decline as an older person. Can you now medical out since you can’t remember the 26 items in our stabilized approach memory item? Will I get section 19d for taxing at 4 knots cause that’s how I drive my car ?

Thats why it’s rarely asked during a PC or PT!!
The majority of pilots have a problem getting every single one of them!!! That came directly from a sim instructor. 😂

Is the current retirement age 65 year, 364 day? If not, why would you state 67 year as such?

Because the house passed legislation to increase mandatory retirement to 67 years 364 days and it is now in the senate where it will pass. That will be the new mandatory retirement age. They are doing it as a temporary fix to the pilot shortage. It will slow or stop hiring and upgrades for a few years.

I have seen the 67 & 364 days multiple times and be quoted by many but I cannot find it in the bill. Do you have a reference?

https://www.congress.gov/bill/117th-congress/senate-bill/4607/text

Thats all I can find.

In either case it will freeze hiring and upgrades for at least two years when it becomes law whatever is settled on.

Not at F9. But it could stall out negotiations.
