They volunteered to get paid to do it. It’s pretty obvious they were there to help with the transition not to police the pilots. I have never had a bad interaction with any LCA at frontier.

They are absolutely checking to see if people are still using jepps. Not to get them in trouble but to get them moving on making the switch. there are plenty of people that really hate the change. I’ve flown with several CA’s that are using their own subscription of ForeFlight. They are also taking questions, but you’re not being honest by saying no one is checking for compliance.

LCAs were there to help answer any question regarding LIDO. Standards was blindsided with this switch as well and the LCAs really care about pilots feeling as prepared as that can be to operate LIDO. We can all agree LIDO and the UI is garbage. No LCA was there to police anyone.

I have had 2 check airmen visit. First was a morning flight which is great. Second was I’m walking off plane and late for a victory lap swap. I basically said I don’t have time to chat. I have heard some pilots are calling the FAA safety line because of the lack of training .

Lack of training? Geez. Three legs and I was comfortable with it. I would be embarrassed, both professionally and personally, to call the FAA safety hotline over something like this.

There was absolutely no mandate, suggestion, hint, wink wink or anything of that nature that the LCPs had to "check" to see if people were still using Jepps. If you wanted to wait to use LIDO until they deleted the Jepp app from your ipad, go for it. That's on you. The only intent was to answer questions and listen to feedback, all in an attempt to ease the transition. I'm sure there are LCPs that aren't super thrilled about the switch themselves.

And that's the hilarious part about it...the LCPs were out there trying to help with the training aspect by being out there to answer questions, yet there are those who weren't interested in being trained, but would rather throw stones and claim the LCPs were all about "compliance". Can't complain about lack of training if you're not willing to participate in the training that was provided, even if it didn't meet your expectations.

Yeah, CAs flew with jepp until it was removed from their ipad, refuse to even touch lido, then get upset when I have to teach them how to use it and they hate it. It is not a hard switch to make... Yeah, the app sucks, but submit your feedback and get over it.

CA I flew with picked up a premium trip and B**hed about lido the whole time. I wish I could get paid 8k to sit there and be unwilling to learn how to use a new app and complain about it the entire time. Making over 300k a year and you don't want to spend a couple hours learning an app. insanity.

I see it all the time. CA’s looking over at what I’m doing with Lido and asking, “How did you do that?” Listening to their briefs is an adventure as they struggle to find the information. They will get there eventually but they created this hardship themselves.

I’ve found one issue so far. The south ramp frequency at MCI was misprinted in one location on the Lido charts.

[QUOTE=ToddChavez;3692198]Things that will actually improve this place:

- On another note, get our agents some decent uniforms and enforce wearing them. ULCC does not stand for ultra-low class, I am tired of agents looking like they are on their way to a yoga session.
/QUOTE]

I thought this was so if things go to $^#% and a hand basket operationally, the agents can just lose their name tag/lanyard and slink away without the crowd realizing they were the face of Frontier.....
