Now we have BK, the unhinged wife of the LEC 165 CA rep, calling people f'iing idiots' on Facebook. She has since edited the post.
The P2P call acknowledged it's going to be about a 9-month delay before negotiations can resume, and no retro for that time since it was union-induced. So, where are LEC165/169 on this 5-figure loss in pay for every pilot on the property?
They are scrambling to rewrite history to justify their actions. It is despicable.

The one guy in the LEC who stood up and pointed out what was going on.

Their best idea right now would be to bring back the original NC and resign.

I'm not sure what weasels have ever done to you, but they don't deserve to be maligned by being compared to that piece of work.

this was just to show that the question was not an accurate gauge. Plus, you don’t know why MP thought the NC was ineffective. Did you know that the prior mediator told our union that JL was hurting us more than helping. Go talk to people, get off this website, it’s toxic. I got better things to do
You ask to talk to pilots of 165/169 and see if they are upset. Well the ones I know are. Very. Perhaps it’s you who should have gotten out of your echo chamber. Mike talks high and mighty about the 70k wasted. My understanding from my reps is it was wasted to prevent exactly what just happened. Going against the “old” polling data a year ago. Did the entire NC have to go? Or could they have been directed by the MEC once a new chair was put in place so that we didn’t all lose at least 6 months? This wasn’t thought through.
The absolute most conservative numbers I can calculate are this charade just cost the pilot group 32 MILLION dollars in lost wages. Thats using all captains at year 3 and FOs at year 1. Anything worse (the actual seniority of the pilots, the time it takes, the actual raise of the pilot group, retro wasn’t even calculated) and the numbers get drastically worse. If you use the current asking price of our contract a six month delay just cost the pilot group 200 Million.

I have seen every communication out of 165/169. I do my best to stay out of echo chambers because IMO they have destroyed our country politically. Now those political issues have reared their toxic head in our union. I don’t care who you vote for while representing me as long as results are accomplished along the will of the pilot group. Even if it is against my own wishes! But that is not what happened.

Thanks to four idiots.

We’ve made zero meaningful progress with the last NC. I don’t understand the resistance to change. From where I sit, MM, LEC 163, and LEC 167 leadership haven’t been effective with this management. A fresh perspective could be exactly what we need.
The mediator canceled the session because of MM’s resignation. Until a new MEC is in place, we haven’t actually lost ground.
Let’s regroup, bring in a new NC, and get behind them.
