A lot of growth via indigo, awesome group, frontier pilots have aways impressed me. With all the bs over the years, it's a really positive group, I'm really bummed to not be part of this. My guess is they were too concerned I would leave for United in a year or two because my dad flies there. Worst part is they are misreading me, I'd have hid that if it were the case but oh well. If you get on here and live out east especially philly your hitting the lottery IMHO
Dad at UAL? You told them this??

Sorry to hear that. My question to you is why did you bring up that your father was a pilot at UAL?
For anybody else reading these posts and want to come to F9 read between the lines here.

What is happening in Philly that it would be like winning the lottery? Will I win enough to buy a dry cleaning or tanning salon to supplement all my winnings?

I think 8/12 got hired yesterday in DEN. I was part of 4..

Long day, good bunch of people both sides of the table. We were all laughing and having a good time by the end of the day.

I know it's not the norm to tell you why you didn't make the cut, but I'd have appreciated a debrief on what we can improve on.

Time for some soul searching.. I should have sold myself a bit better I guess.

Thanks to all the ones that came out and involved in the process.

Will keep on trying. I won't give up.

I'm just guessing here, but one question almost every recruiter likes to ask at every airlines is... How did you get into aviation? That's how it maybe came up.

I hear what your saying. F9 is very touchy about people leaving. Perhaps a better choice of words may have been in order...

I not saying he was right or wrong. That might be where practice and maybe interview prep course have to come into play. How do you sell yourself and show then you want to be there while also being honest with your answers.

Exactly. Totally agree and that's good advice. Frontier is touchy about people leaving. That became a big focus in my panel interview, which I have posted about in here already. They asked very pointed questions, though, about possible leaving that make it very hard to spin and stay truthful if you are looking to move on eventually in life. It's tough to dodge, but if you really do want to work there like someone in my interview group did that was very capable of working elsewhere, make sure they know that. In his case he really, really, wanted to be in Denver right away due to QOL and he meant it...and got hired. (no, I was not offered the job)
