Admittedly I haven't been at Spirit long, but I've yet to experience this.
Every flight, the pax have been very nice, thanking the FAs and pilots as they get off the plane, I've heard nary a complaint. Most complaints filed have been due to being late or lost baggage, something pilots have very little control over.
Complaints about Spirit on social media come in two categories:
1. People who expect gold standard treatment, but only want to pay rock-bottom prices for it, or
2. People who haven't actually flown Spirit, but had a sister, brother, uncle, friend, friend of a friend, etc., who have and can't believe you have to pay all those fees (which, btw, you pay for on other airlines, they're just bundled into the price, or if you actually read any of the small print, or change your behavior slightly, you won't have to pay).
Don't equate flying as a ticket paying customer to flying on Spirit aircraft as a flight crew member. I'm not an expert, but as I understand it, Spirit has a fantastic contract, great work rules, is making gobs of money and the planes have been built in this century.
Best of luck to those at F9 and those getting ready to interview.

I didn't mean to imply that working for the next Spirit would necessarily be a bad thing. As I mentioned, the Spirit pilots seem to be generally happy. Admittedly I was a little surprised by this, because I figured that the majority of Spirit customers would be like "customer #1" that you described above and I would've thought that would have a trickle down effect to the gate agents, flight attendants, etc...but it sounds like that is not the case (which I am happy to hear).
I wish for nothing but the best for Frontier, from the pilots on down. From what I can gather the pilot group as a whole is a solid group that is willing to fight together for what they deserve. Hopefully that's how it will continue as everything plays out.

To prospective new hires, here is a quote from Arbitrator Eischen's ruling:
RAH pilots so far are not being allowed to bid these positions, violating the Eischen award. Consider that when you apply. We're all professionals, and integrity counts in this industry.
Articulation of the reciprocal fence protections in terms of "priorities" means that, to the extent fenced positions remain open after the exercise of a protected groups priority rights, other pilots on the IMSL can bid for such open positions, in accordance with their integrated seniority and the terms and conditions of applicable CBA provisions; rather than the Carrier filling those positions by hiring new pilots off the street.

Right but if and when Frontier is sold the pilots are taken off of RAHs list and they are no longer affiliated correct?

Sure, but how long will it take for the transaction to be completed and the lists to be formally separated? I would bet people will interview & be in class by then. Until the Eischen IMSL is taken apart, F9 management is violating an arbitrated award.

Spirit's satisfied customers come, for the most part, in three different flavors:
1. Passengers who are traveling on holiday and would rather spend their money on the actual holiday and not on the means to get there.
2. Passengers who must purchase their own tickets, are looking for a bargain and are able to do a little prior research and work to get a cheap price. This is in contrast to business travelers using an expense account or travelers on an awards program who don't directly pay for their own tickets.
3. People who wouldn't normally travel by air and would travel by bus or car, or just not travel at all.
Complaints usually come from those who are used to purchasing tickets on Kayak, Expedia or another travel related site, don't pre purchase for bags, show up to the airport needing to check three bags, a couple carryons, expect a Coke/bag of pretzels and need their tickets printed at the airport. Nothing wrong with that, but it's not conducive to Spirit's business model, nor should it come as a surprise, but if you read any media reports about Spirit, it always seems to. Plus, people are much more comfortable complaining to a website, in an email or on the phone rather than being confrontational in person.
Generally, and admittedly like I said, I don't have much experience with the paying public, Spirit's customers seem to be happy enough, the gate agents are very nice and the FAs are bright, cheery and happy. That has been my experience so far, doubtless it won't always be like that.
I also wish the best of luck to Frontier's pilot group, hopefully good times are in store for them and the potential new hires.

Sorry, I don't mean to offend anybody and I am not implying that anyone who got interviews thus far are not deserving of them BUT.... I thought that having a silver bullet was suppose to do something for you above and beyond someone without an internal rec.
If I understand correctly, I am seeing that people without Silver Bullets or internal recs are being called for interviews. I have 5500 TT, 1300 TPIC 121 and a clean record in all respects. Anyone from F9 have any guidance or input they could throw out regarding this phenomenon. Thanks
