You will see a certificate merge well before a furlough and there isn't much TSA pilots can do about it. Plus it's in their best interest. More pilots and you can staff more flying.

Actually, there is. Airline management/employee relations are governed by this thing called the RLA. TSH can not force GoJet pilots into TSA or Compass as they both have contracts under ALPA representation. They can merge the two part 121 certificates but if they do so there are things in the TSA contract that would most likely kick in. That was why Transtate formed TSH and then GoJet and its sham union to begin with. To get around these things.
But hey, keep drinking their koolaide.

You should be less angry about things from the past that 99% of pilots on property had nothing to do with. But hey, if you are cool with shooting yourself in the foot, that's your business. Stupidity, but your stupidity.

I’m not on property so not my fight. But not really shooting themselves in the foot. If GoJet goes under don’t expect a lifeline from any ALPA carrier. The pilots at GoJet were not there when this happened but they knew, or should have known the history.
Again, TSH wanted GoJet separate, they won’t be able to force them in now and you might want to brush up on the RLA since you don’t seem to understand it. I’m sure you’ll be offered job interviews and positions at the bottom of the list if the interview is successful.

I understand the RLA just fine thanks. I'm not at GJ either. To claim that all the CFIs they hired over the last 10 years should have known about GoJet and thus not taken taken the job, especially during times when no one was hiring, is lunacy. I'd be happy to extend an olive branch for everyone there except a few of the old timers. But I've been paroled and honestly, what happens there has zero impact on me.

Too bad for them. That’s what happens in this industry if you don’t do your research. Try to get the quick upgrade and move on, but if you do it on the backs of others and the music stops sucks for you. I think you will find the sympathy I have for them somewhere in the dictionary close to syphilas. My brother was a TSA pilot so that memory won’t die soon.
