I'd recommend bringing a car if able for the flexibility it'll provide. I work for a competitor, but having a car to get to/from sim without worrying about the hotel shuttle, run errands, etc., is priceless. The light rail runs from the airport into town if you want to see the Arch, though.

Would be nice to have wheels. Unfortunately I'm coming in from SAN. Would be a bit of a drive for this old man..

On a somewhat different subject, reading about crime statistics, St. Louis in currently dealing with an astronomical crime rate including violent crimes, assaults etc. Does this concern anyone beyond the typical travel in groups, stay out of dark places and mind your own business, common sense? Clearly, the plan is to spend most of the time at the schoolhouse but one has to venture out at some point to get eat/shop. In my younger years I didn't give it much thought. Just curious what others are experiencing. May also be nothing at all. Thanks..

St. Louis has been in the top 5 most dangerous cities in America for many years, currently number 2. Nothing to worry about.

Oh, and for sure avoid East St. Louis!!

PHX for sims I assume? What does the general training footprint look like as far as timing for indoc, ground school, sims etc?

systems ground school is in phx then sims could be phx or stl, they have 1 sim in phx and two in stl
