I'd recommend bringing a car if able for the flexibility it'll provide. I work for a competitor, but having a car to get to/from sim without worrying about the hotel shuttle, run errands, etc., is priceless. The light rail runs from the airport into town if you want to see the Arch, though.

On a somewhat different subject, reading about crime statistics, St. Louis in currently dealing with an astronomical crime rate including violent crimes, assaults etc. Does this concern anyone beyond the typical travel in groups, stay out of dark places and mind your own business, common sense? Clearly, the plan is to spend most of the time at the schoolhouse but one has to venture out at some point to get eat/shop. In my younger years I didn't give it much thought.
