My question on seniority was based on your suggestion that of people are unhappy with their current airline situation then they should just quit. If you know how seniority works, then you know it's not that easy. An unhappy regional pilot may be trying to move on to a legacy/major/LCC/cargo but that's not a given. Their other option in your scenario would be to quit and start over on the bottom of another regional seniority list. "Better the devil you know..." and such. If you are just getting your commercial certificate then you have a long way to go
before you will be at an airline. Keep us posted on your progress. I hope you still have the enthusiasm after you have been grinding away "flying jets and getting paid" for a few years.

How are you all getting on in class with the masks? Worn all day? Are they relaxing the requirements a bit? Out here in Cal, it's still some of the strictest rules in the country. I get that it's still going on in the airport but was wondering more in the classroom setting.

How does the promised bonus take form? Is there a contract? Is the contract allowed by the CBA? If not, They promise, you come, they don't pay, you sue, they argue that the CBA overrides the bonus contract as members of the group with a CBA cannot have individual contracts, and they win.
