Unless you currently fly in 121 and fully understand the concept of whipsaw, please spare us your Business 101 lecture...

No, its turnaround...and turnaround is very much fair play as the pilots who accepted employment at GoJet selfishly did so to the well-known detriment of TSA pilots.

The point is no one, especially main line guys give a crap about your plight and grievences against some airline and the pilots that work for an airline at the commuter level. Nor should you, just put in your time and prep for your interview for that Boeing or Airbus job. Then all you will have to care about is time to upgrade and your vacation time.

You've definately got one on me. Being all that experience that you have in the right seat of a RJ. Tell you what when you have another 15 years in the business move over to the left seat of a 737 or Gulfstream and are flying international maybe you will have a better understanding of what the business is all about. At the point you're at more listening than talking would benefit you greatly.
What "the business is all about" is preventing folks from taking YOUR current job by accepting lesser compensation and workrules. Folks in "the left seat of a 737" know about this; their management has outsourced their flying to regional jets, which have replaced narrowbody aircraft and narrowbody jobs. Corporate pilots know this by blacklisting those contract pilots who ***** themselves out for experience and offer their services for half the daily industry rate or less.
This is exactly what GoJet pilots did. They accepted employment flying a 70 seat jet for lesser compensation and workrules at a non-union carrier than TSA ALPA pilots flying a 50 seat jet. They empowered Hulas' wipsaw and further degraded the compensation and quality of life of small jet pilots, setting an extremely dangerous precedent in the regional industry.
At the point you're at, more education than pontificating would benefit you greatly.

Eh, I'm not mad...just don't have any love for GJ pilots even though I know its not the "career-killer" some wish it was.
You are right they got a buck an hour more...but made less due to being paid block only. MY BAD!

It's a SCAB mentality...if you're willing to do ANYTHING to pad your retirement without the thought of your fellow workers. They always have a story to justify their actions...funny how the majority are able to make it work without bending their bros over.
