First year Captain at G7 gets 66$ an hour. So I guess Comair was paying first year Captains 132$ an hour?

To me, this proves that DL does not care about customer satisfaction. The performance numbers consistently show GoJets is not doing well (even when adjusted for LGA ops.) Clearly, the cheapest is all DL cares about. What's the motivation to do well as a DCI pilot? We're constantly told that good performance will be rewarded but that is obviously not the case.

It's been proven, people STILL keep buying tickets on (insert carrier here). Sure, we can all dig up numbers stats about how passengers are switching from airline A to airline B, airline A is losing market share to airline B, whatever. Doesn't matter.
Sure, they can claim to be improving customer service, providing a better product, whatever. They're STILL gonna worry about cost. Operation performance and quality of product? Ehhhh, detail schmeetails...........

+1, however I'd rather be IN the good graces of my peers without having to step on the necks of others chasing that "Quick Upgrade". Just my humble opinion.
