It probably will. But that kind of thinking can end up costing you a far superior career later. You can't log unemployment. Going on it when you have other choices just because of myopic short term thinking like that will do far more harm than good in the long run.

An expert on grammer and regional aviation---nice. The interviewing/hiring board goes both ways---soon many G7 guys will be there too. Also, by the time you get hired at a major and have been there long enough to be on an interview/hiring board---you will have realized how petty and ridiculous this whole G7 thing is. Things that I thought were a big deal 10 years ago do not seem so big anymore.

And most people wont care at that point. Maybe a random TSA pilot on the board but no one else cares once on at the majors. This whole GoJet distaste is a joke. We could get the best contract and this would still go on. Every regional pilot hates another airline so let the gojet pilots make their choice and so be it. Skywest has their issues along with expressjet and republic. Each one has it's positives as well. Overall who cares worry about your own company
