Is Gojet getting anyone to go to class? Are they saying what they are going to do with the United contract ending and United not wanting their 700s (or anyone else) anymore? Any chance they might get 175s?

Jumpseated home last night on Delta mainline. The guys told me the company has been telling them to avoid commuting on GoJet due to reliability issues. There seem to be many way, way better options than GoJet. I hope you live in a base.

Notice the complete silence to a simple question, how many people have been showing up to class? Their embarrassment is palpable. G7 is in such poor shape that they are hiring captains off of the street if they can find any.

"I hope you live in a base." is interesting because which base? United wants to get rid of the crj and that is what G7 flys for United. Their contract with United ends in a year and a half. What will happen to the CRJs? Maybe they will go to American but probably not in Chicago. So maybe they will go to Dallas or Miami or NY? Maybe they will go to Delta in NY or RDU? I don't think they will be in Chicago. Any insight anyone?

Well for me, RDU is close to home for me so I can live there, I don't have to commute, they have aircraft I want to fly, and a short reserve time. Of course if they lose their United contract and close in 18 months thats not going to be very good for me.

You do know that TSA has a RDU base and a far superior contract, right?
