Best UFO sighting I have heard of, from someone I know:
The Capt of the flight told me about it. I have talked to this person numerous times, and feel like I know the pilot pretty well. This Capt was a gen/admiral in the US military, one star. They had no interest in aliens or UFOs, as it didn't interest or affect them.

The Capt of a crew of 4 flying about 80 degrees North, over Canada, 2021. It was night time. They saw the lights of a plane ahead, and after watching it for a short while, they CPDLCd with Canada. The controller told them that it was not an aircraft, as the nearest one to their position was more than 170 miles away.
The aircraft started doing some unusual maneuvers. Then another appeared, and then another. There were about 25 of them, in all, and 3 of the crew watched them maneuver for about 45 minutes. The crew had their cockpit lights turned down to min so as to see the UFOs better.

The Capt told me that they were brightly colored, and would sometimes change to different colors. Then, three times, they had this experience: One of the UFOs would approach their plane, and then a very bright beam of blue light would shoot out, right at the cockpit, illuminating the cockpit. The Capt said it didn't hurt, and didn't feel hot. But, the cockpit was now lit up, bright as day, but with the blue light. The Capt said they could easily read printed material inside the cockpit, with all the lights off.

During this whole experience, they were CPDLCing constantly with Canada. The three pilots in the cockpit, printed out the whole log, which was quite long. Towards the end of the experience, Canada gave them a radio frequency, and told them to call, because NORAD wanted to talk to them. When they called NORAD, the UFOs started zooming off, northbound. Within about 5 minutes of the radio call, they had all disappeared northbound, and weren't seen again, the rest of the flight.

The Capt told the crew to expect anything, up on arrival. The Capt thought that possible military, or intelligence services, or a psychologist, might meet them on the ramp, and require them to talk about what happened. Nothing of the sort happened. The Capt said that now his whole view of everything has changed, and he now believes in off-Earth civilizations, with advanced technology vehicles.

Reference the sighting I described above: Starlink sattelites don't approach an aircraft and beam an intense blue light into your cockpit. And, NORAD is not interested in people's sightings of Starlink. As noted in the sightings from the "starlink" UFOs, NORAD didn't call any of those pilots to get a briefing from them as to what they were seeing...

"This kind of cynical speculation gives rise to the stigma that has long surrounded UAP. Not only does it have a chilling effect on military and commercial pilots coming forward, but it also discourages scientists from pursuing funding to study these phenomena."

"I know firsthand that the fear of this stigma is a major issue because I was the first active-duty pilot to come forward publicly about regular sightings of UAP, and it was not easy. I have seen mysterious targets on radar myself and have spoken with pilots who have experienced near misses with mysterious objects off the Eastern Seaboard, which prompted unsafe evasive actions and mandatory safety reports. I spoke out about these incidents publicly in 2019—at great risk both to me personally, and to my profession—because nothing was being done."

I haven't watched the latest few, but Ben has mentioned Starlink as a possibility in past videos, especially for some sightings. For other sightings, he doesn't believe Starlink is the answer. I quoted the above post because it references a Mick West video who has a screenshot of a Ben Hansen tweet at the beginning. I don't follow Mick West, but from the video titles I assume he's a more hardcore skeptic. Ben Hansen, on the other hand, believes we've been visited by aliens, FWIW.

I'm relatively agnostic on the topic of what people are seeing, but it interests me because I've had a few experiences over the years that seemingly couldn't be explained by anything but insanely advanced military technology. Wasn't swamp gas.

Why come all the way here and not say anything? If anyone shows up the chances are we become food or have our resources harvested. The idea of being so special we wouldn’t be consumed or spoken too immediately is very self centered human imho. Not saying the possibility doesn’t exist but seems like a long shot.

Also the math on 2 sentient species evolving in the same time window and being able to communicate is almost zero. If we survived for 29 million years, we need another space faring species to do the same. The math, though possible, is not very probable

The utter arrogance to take the egocentric view that we are alone in the universe, let alone the most intelligent or advanced organism in the cosmos, is staggeringly ignorant.

That said, the UFO crowd tends to be the conspiracy crowd, tends to be fruitcakes and nuts.

It still makes for entertaining episodes of the X Files and employs large numbers of CG artists for film, and of course, gave Richard Dreyfuss his second greatest role.

You’re applying human thought process and logic to something that may not be human. I’d argue it’s self centered to say they must think like us. Any form of life that can potentially travel through galaxies and observe us clearly has superior intellect. Maybe they have every reason to observe and not interact.

That’s a valid point. Tbc I think that the math supports a staggering amount of life out there. The math does not support them coexisting at the same point in time to overlap. Obviously everything and anything is on the table. Just seems dumb to say they came all the way here to put things in our butts 😂. Jk, but kinda true in a macro sense. I did stay at a holiday in last night though.

Apologize for the thread drift but I’m fairly certain Bigfoot comes from another dimension as well. It explains why the sightings are so random/rare and why we haven’t discovered any colonies out in the back country.

The real debate then becomes whether it’s Bigfoot himself doing the inter-dimensional travel or whether other intelligent life forms are positioning him here.
