This article suggests they sold so many cars that service fell behind:

Even though they are still selling nearly every model 3 that comes off the assembly line parts are now in plentiful supply so there won't be any waiting a week for a part.
What I like best is in the last 4 years of owning a Tesla I have had to fix some minor issues like a bad parking sensor and a bubble in the screen. They came to my house and did it in my driveway so I didn't even have to go to the service center. It was incredibly convenient and all I had to do was hand them the key and get back to what I was doing inside.
The only time I have been to the service center was for an alignment and a plug port door that wouldn't respond to a request to open and they had to change the whole charge port...this was before there were mobile rangers so they may have been able to handle that out in the field now.
I have never had a problem getting a hold of someone and I can even schedule service online through the app or web portal without calling anybody.

What was the matter with his car? I can get a hold of someone immediately and if not I get called back withing an hour so your days/weeks is completely B.S.
The model 3 is selling at a rate of around 100,000 a quarter if there was any major problems they would be well known by now.

I really want a Model Y. I am watching the Tesla forums closely to see if they improve. So far I am not seeing any improvement.
I have a BMW I3. Coming up on two years old without a single issue.

On 3 different occasions the car refused to start and left him stranded. Different reasons each time centering on the 12 volt battery. Front motor issues, center screen issues, peeling paint ect...

Please tell me what front motor issues any Tesla made in the last 4 years has suffered from that you don't see improvement? There are no problems with the motors as they are industry leading in longevity and efficiency.
The 2012 and 2013 models had screens that tended to get bubble especially when left in the sun. Tesla fixed this in all later models by double sealing the screen. As for the model 3 there has been no screen issues so to say that there hasn't been any improvement is a flat out lie and is completely devoid of any substance.

Electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer Tesla's popularity continues to cause growing pains, highlighting the challenges of forgoing the traditional dealership model. In a Bloomberg survey of Tesla owners, 21% expressed dissatisfaction with the timeliness of Tesla's service in Q3 2019, up from just 8% in Q3 2018. This frustration likely stems from the 33% of customers who waited 10 days or more for a service appointment in Q3 2019, an increase from 13% in the prior year.

No one likes to wait for an appointment but when I owned my BMW it would take a couple weeks to get an appointment. So much so that I wanted to get my 335i in for some warranty work but it took almost 4 week to get an appointment and the warranty ran out the day before. Thankfully they took pity on me and covered it anyway.
The nice thing though is that Tesla is consistently ranked number 1 for customer satisfaction.
They gave their highest ratings to its design, performance, and some of the unusual software features that help define Tesla’s brand. A nearly unanimous 99.6% of respondents said the Model 3 is a pleasure to drive, the kind of consensus rarely reached by any consumer product.

So, the 12 volt battery went bad? That would leave anyone stranded in any car even the I3. It is a simple fix...replace the 12 volt battery.

The battery issues were in the charging system and took Tesla a long time to diagnose. They just kept throwing a new battery in.

Read the Tesla forums. By not seeing any improvements I am discussing service time and parts as well as qualified technicians to perform the service.

I don't know what you mean when you are talking about parts as they now have enough that they have started selling parts to the general public instead of keeping them all for themselves as they were using them as fast as they could make them so parts have definitely improved.
The fact that they are averaging 20-30 new service centers a quarter is not improving?
I just checked the app on how long it would take for me to get my Model X into the service center and it was less than a week with multiple times on the 13th. If it was something that the mobile service could do it was as soon as Monday.
What you need to do is get off the forums or check other car forums because just like this one the vast majority of people that spend time posting on forums are those they have had a problem. The other 96% that have had great service or not needed service tend not to spend their time on the forums.
The fact is these cars need very little service as they don't have oil to change, the brakes last well over twice as long due to regenerative braking, it doesn't have engine coolant, it doesn't have drive belts, it doesn't have an alternator, it doesn't have a water pump, it doesn't have an engine air filter, it doesn't have spark plugs/wires, it has 1/1,000 of the moving parts that an internal combustion engine has.
Out of the top 20 most common maintenance items for ICE cars Tesla doesn't even have 17 of them.

When making a Choice on a model 3 purchase I used data from friends owning prior Tesla’s, test reports and forums. So far the car simply does not meet my personal standards. Here is a great quote about Tesla owners.
“In most cases, reliability will undermine satisfaction,” says Jake Fisher, senior director of auto testing at Consumer Reports. “But when a vehicle has an enthusiastic following, like with Tesla, owners may overlook some issues. We’ve seen this with other vehicles such as the Jeep Wrangler and Chevrolet Corvette.”
I like the features of the Tesla, I hope they improve so I can purchase a model Y. My current non Tesla electric is 2 years old without a single issue. It takes serious problems for CR to issue a not recommended.

If you think Tesla people overlook problems because they are blinded to reality then you are probably right that you don't need a Tesla.
The only thing you seem to be looking at is the outliers or those with a problem and are ignoring the other 95% of the satisfied customers.
I have shown you the numbers and you keep trying to make excuses but Tesla owners have the highest satisfaction rating of any other car out there including porches, Jeeps and corvettes warts and all.
