https://www.cnbc.com/2023/09/21/ukraine-war-live-updates-latest-news-on-russia-and-the-war-in-ukraine.html

An excerpt:

In other news, Poland has dealt a serious blow to Kyiv after it said it will no longer supply its neighbor with weapons, as a rift over agricultural exports deepens.

Warsaw has been one of Kyiv’s staunchest allies since mutual foe Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022. Poland has donated weaponry, tanks, Soviet-era fighter jets and provided military training to Ukraine’s armed forces. Ukraine, which has made repeated pleas for more weaponry from its allies, has not commented on the move.

So some actual real news, and not the subjective conjecture clickbait pulled to fit one persons agenda that purposefully leaves out context (like oh say the polish president on the record saying that the only way to secure european security is defeating the RU on the battlefields of ukraine on Tuesday):

ukraine is confirmed to be operating heavy vehicles beyond the tri layer defensive line near verbove for the first time. Looks like they they have broken through on the zhaporihza front as of 20 September.

furthermore Ukraine has been confirmed to be able to fire on the highway that supports bahkmut in the north.

Tough times for the RU

I agreed early on that the Ukraine was going to come out of this feeling betrayed. You can see that now, as their neighboring governments pay more attention to their next election than what affect their policies have on Ukraine (or NATO too for that matter. All those 2% FOR DEFENSE promises the EU countries with the highest GDP are going back to the “Well, maybe next year…or maybe later in the decade…” status.)

How does a deeply splintered 1st world alliance of republics deal with stone cold aggression backstopped by a nuke triad as capable as their own? More or less like what we've witnessed so far? Putin, Xi are absolute rulers. Others will surface. Look what's taking place in Israel. Feckless, naïve engagement to enforce justice across a borderless planet is risky business.

The “republics” just dealt with it. we have set russia back by decades with man and material losses. Actually I should honor the Ukrainians and say they did it with the wests help.

you are a very confusing or confused person. You ask how do we stop them, whilst opposing the very means that has stopped them. You make no sense.

What exactly would you propose as an alternate method to deal with autocrats bent on territorial aggression? Please be specific

crazy pills and pigeons abound
