Skygirl is completely stepping out of her realm tomorrow, and is working a promotional event at Infineon Speedway, and she hasn't the slightest clue about NASCAR! I just know that it's going to be too damn hot at the track and the "pits" will literally be hot! How do I let friends talk me into taking on such projects?

I woke up this morning and remembered how my friend talked me into doing this event. She used to date a NASCAR driver and she promised me lots of fun, cute race car drivers, and lots of other hot dudes at the track. I have no doubt that both the dudes and the dudettes will be "hot" today! Is that true girls? Goes to show you how much I know about NASCAR. I always pictured Beer-bellied Bubba with the shotgun in the back of his pick up truck at such events. I guess I will learn something new today. Stay cool everyone, and Calcapt, could you please stop the global warming? You're going to melt the polar ice caps.

I just finished a long week with a good result and I have a date with a Margaritaaah!!! I am officially sick of argueing with small hands/big watches and would prefer to bask in light humor with the tried and true posse folks.
Looking at buying a clip winged cub, doing some light aerobatics, hopefully scareing the crap out of myself from time to time, and have some good old quality time in the sky..........

That's right, Cass, it IS tiresome and they won't change. There are days when I am convinced my dog is smarter. Noticed a new thread started. I won't even bother to respond; not even to correct a factual error.
On a lighter side, looking forward to my discovery flight this weekend. If all goes well, I was promised that I could buy a plane of my own. Wheee! Not sure a little propeller plane can make it to Portugal though.

Just wanted to let all know that calcapt got a little too much sun in Florida today. Staying in a beautiful three bedroom condo on the beach and will try to be a little more careful with the sun tomorrow. The weather is fine and the girls are hot down here but not hotter than my posse girls. A nice starbucks Frap tonite and another day at the beach tomorrow. Sunday is a pontoon boat party off Destin Florida with a little Corona for breakfast, lunch and maybe dinner - pretzels and munchies on occasion to break the streak. Back to the grind Monday but between now and then I'm not thinking much about airplanes. Wish the posse was here this weekend with thongs and bikinis. Me and Slice would man the boat and the party would be one to remember - probably wouldn't make it to work Monday though!
