Exciting landing in OSH
#11
I was 50 yards farther down the runway (right in line with taxiway P-3) then the camera was in this video. The pilot had to stop the aircraft before taxiway P-2 (which he did rather easily) since that's where the aircraft was displayed. I was actually really impressed with both the landing and how quickly it slowed down... granted it was pretty light. Still he probably could have stopped it in less than 3500ft if he really tried. And for the record, the crosswind was pretty bad.

The Super-Bus weather vanes like crazy because of its side profile... I've seen it at JFK 30-45 degrees off-center before. As firm as it looked, was still a good landing in my book.... gotta be a tough airplane to fly.

I have been told by a friend that witnessed it, that the pilot set the plane down near the numbers so he could make the midfield taxiway, which would jive with what another poster who was there said. I was there for the take off when he left and he did a beautiful slow flight pass at 105kts, that was simply amazing something that big flying that slow..an it was soo quiet too..I am not a big Airbii fan, but that was an amazing bird period
