Yes, and the tactic chosen here was a steeply-banked arc above and around the test aircraft, since the primary airspace to be "cleared" was below him. Of course we were in a restricted area, but it was always possible that somebody would be where they shouldn't be.

Unless you're in a slick Hornet, in which case slow speed high AOA, I can still point my nose where I please. All the speed in the world dosen't help if I can keep you bled down defending off my ability to point when/where I please!

(Disclaimer: This assumes 1v1 and doesn't take into account F-15 and F-22 guys, who will convince you and your wife/girflriend that they are superior, and annoy the hell out of you in debrief refering to themselves in the third person)
