Is the top one a PTR-91 or HK G3? I got to mess with a PTR-91 at my LGS the other day and I must say I really want one! Essentially a clone G3 made in the U.S. from HK tooling imported from spain I belive. From what I've heard especially the recent ones have been quite good. Talk about a beefy rifle! Its heavy, akward (compared to more modern designs) but its shoots .308 and is built like a tank! I loved it! Its too bad I don't have the cash on hand for one now or I'd take it home. Seems to me that it would be a fun rifle to mess around with and something different than your run of the mill AR-15.

Its a S&W Pro Series 3" 1911. I was going to pick up a Kimber, but the price for the Smith was better, and I've always had good luck with my full size 1911 and my M&Pc. It wasnt a tough sell. I've put about 150 rds through so far it and it runs great.

Neato. I was thinking of a new SD40 for CCW but might consider 4-inch 1911 instead. You get tired of looking at plastic all the time. The SD carries more rounds (14) but it's hard to say which bullet is deadlier.
