Maybe a one off design like the "Electric Horseman" had would solve this once and for all.

What’s gonna be on your headstone?

The AF needs people like you to make and enforce more reflective belt policies. That's totally what should happen.

That's how it works now it seems like.

After having done a little catching up on current events, I would venture to say that you are correct.

I’ve come to the realization that most posters on this forum are most likely Republic FO’s. They haven’t been anywhere or done anything.

Well, not necessarily Republic FO’s. However the Hi Viz Vest Fashion police exist all over the world. A verbal is the norm. However, in the UK, don’t be shocked if a caution is issued as they take your details. Repeat offenders can face fines and disciplinary actions.

Australian Airports are more conservative when it comes to safety. You must wear Ear Defenders, which are ear muffs to prevent damage to the ears due to high decibels.

I have no issues with the enforcement for the purposes of enhancement of safety.

Some foreign carriers issued us Hi Viz Vests as part of our uniform allotments. Some carriers maintained Hi Viz Vests in the cockpit. Simple fix wsa to ACARS the company to have a spare brought out the aircraft if one has gone missing or unusable.

No dramas nor drama queens to complain about how much of a fashion disaster to the uniform the vest looks.

If it's required for your job maybe your company should pay for it
