A Delta captain in ATL was desperate for caffeine before his flight. He marches up to the coffee station next to a passenger who was filling his cup. Upon realizing what he wanted was on the other side of the station, he decides to reach over the arms of the passenger

So you’re OK with not saying anything to the perpetrator in question. Your OK, with the witness to the affair, cow-towing and begging for forgiveness of a transgression performed by another individual in uniform? What if the perp were a cop? That a better analogy for you than a child? By the way, the witness never stated he was also a DAL crewmember. Who knows, maybe they’re trying to get on with DAL.
How would you expect someone being that rude to react to a lecture? Would you want the public to see that reaction?

The KCM line? Wow, I've never seen that before.

So now we go from children to police officers. Why can't it just be what it was? Do you really think it would be better if I had stepped up to a complete stranger, who happens to also be in uniform, and started arguing with him in front of dozens of passengers? And you are comparing that to my responsibility to teach my child?

Wow, you must be the Delta Captain he was talking about. Surprised to see your actions posted on this board? ohh yeah, this thread is called "Tool of the Day" which is exactly what you were at the coffee stand and worthy of a post in this thread. That was the point of his original post. You are also a tool in this thread.

You like analogies so here's one. You are deadheading and the passenger in front of you passes wind. Do you:
A. Hold your breath.
B. "Oh my gawd why are you farting! You owe everyone here an apology!"
Sometimes it is best to just let the wind blow.
