Sorry, I'm not that rude. As a kid I was taught to respect my...Elders.

But I would like to know why a F/A is on Airline PILOT Central board in the first place?? Isn't there an Airline F/A Central board somewhere, where you can bash fat, old, ex-wife impaired pilots?

We need a place to vent, you are NOT in the Cockpit club, so why are you here? What goes on inside the cockpit is not in your domain, but that's why we are here, to vent, about the -tools- we have to deal with up there.

I've been married to a (now former) F/A for 25 years, we have 4 kids, 3 of them girls ages 16-23, so I've 'paid my dues' in the estrogen dept. And I was 'raised' by a couple (Young, HOT!) F/A's who actually baby sat for my working Mom, when my younger brother and sisters were 1-3-4, I was about 10-12. They were funny and smoking hot. I think they are one of the big reasons I wanted to be an Airline Pilot in the first place, to fly with young, hot F/A's, like THEM!

I'm 52 today, and both of those F/A's are STILL working! Both were hired in 1968. Both are married, empty nesters, grand mothers now, and don't really "Need" the job, so I have to wonder; WHY?? Why are they still flying?? Neither one even owns a CAT! So there is No Excuse! Maybe they don't like their husbands and just want to get out of the house?

Why would anyone still want to be working at age 62-65 if they didn't have to? When I was hired, I set an "End Date" of 25 years. That would get me enough to retire on. But a lot can happen in 25 years. I lost my retirement in the bankrutpcy. If DL would just replace the $1.4M they took from my DB plan, I'd be gone tomorrow, and sailing in the Keys right now.

A couple days ago I flew with DL's number 1 F/A, Bob. I think he said he's 88, he said he was hired in 1951....but wouldn't that make him about 17 at hire? So maybe he's about to turn 89 and was 18 at hire?

Working for 62 years?!

Wow, just wow.

OK...sorry to drag this so far off topic, put me in for the Tool today.

Hey Timbo,
You have a point.. I know this is a pilot board but there are pilots on this board that are not EMPLOYED as pilots currently. I myself am not I am a Maint Controller who lost my medical and cannot fly as well as strfry51 who was a DC-9 pilot and also is in MC at UAL for the same reason. Speaking only for me I like to interject things sometimes "tool like" but I feel I have some things to offer to this board but I can always leave if asked. I think a forum needs a little outside opinion sometimes..Thats why I like the "jet carriers" board that Doug Taylor of DAL runs it has a catagory for everyone so that others can have a voice and an opinion that you might or might not agree with.. Sorry if this was "tool like" just my opinion. Oh and I have 4 cats one for every airline that kicked me to the curb...I know you lost a lot but be glad you got to stay with one airline all these years...A lot of us didn't and I have no retirement either.

Once a pilot, always a pilot.

Nice! I just saw that airplane in Hong Kong, a couple days ago!

From a distance I thought it was the Power Puff Girls, like the one Delta Express had for awhile, but as we taxied out and got closer, I saw it was the Hello Kitty jet! Too funny.

I hate cats, kill them all. I have 2, the fat one bit me last night, he has a limp today, he could really use the special house she wanted built. DL pilots please don't tell your FA's I did this, or jumping on you guys will be hell. For all the people from CA, why do the women out there talk in baby voice?

This TSA agent. Laughing after spilling someone's grandfather's ashes all over the floor. I'm pretty sure "Tool" doesn't even come close. She's not a pilot but I figured she deserved the shout out.

So you come on the message board to show what a big stud you are by abusing a cat?
It bit you? What did you do to deserve it? I seriously doubt it just bit you without some form of instigation....and then you hurt it to the point it has a limp today?

You are the TOTD!

Anyone that condones, or participates in, abuse of animals is a loser, plain and simple.

Holy ****. Do you really think I beat the crap out of a cat. Take a joke. Were you abused/still abused(if so, you're an exception to the rule of no one deserves it). You must be a "I do things by the book" type of guy
