63 year old captain looks over at me and says "So, what do you think about age 67?"

Flyin1500 07-16-2013 07:29 AM

Don't touch my stuff!

Not totally toolish, but it pushed my buttons:

One leg to southern calilfornia. Flight attendants are turning and we are leaving so fo and I are in the back helping in the cabin. Capt douchnozzle goes on the flight deck and removes our crap. Mind you we were not late. He did say, thanks for helping in the back as we grabbed our stuff, so not totally douchey....but couldn't he just wait the 2.5 min? Maybe I'm the tool cuz I don't like my stuff messed with. Rant over.

"Any of you ho%#'s touch me or my stuff, I'll kill ya."
:D

Get your crap out of there and let the FA (s) do their job. He was a tool for touching your stuff though. Let's call it a push.

Or better yet, die while you fly.

All PA's are outlined in Flight Manual part 1. Thats what the boss wants, thats what the pax get.

So all you say is what's scripted and nothing more? Sad.

I don't get it. If you were not staying on the aircraft and you were also not late, why did you stick around to "help" the FAs? I can't imagine doing anything other than saying goodbye to a few pax, then getting my bags and hustling on out of there.

Seems to me that you guys were just sort of in the way, and keeping your stuff in the cockpit would be mildly irritating to me as well if I was the new pilot just walking on the airplane.

In the big picture of life however, this hardly warrants a wasted heartbeat for anyone.

If he works for jetBlue, I think their pilots help tidy up the cabin.....

Maybe he was just being nice to a fellow employee. Apparently that is abnormal behavior to some people.
