So you do not want to train someone since he has a degree and an airplane? Its your bosses call to make, not yours.

I never said I didnt want to train him because he had a degree and an airplane, I have my reasons but ultimately you're right, it is the bosses call.

Tell him you know something he doesn't- you know what a tool is.

Also: the tool that poses an interesting question while at cruise. You take the bait. Then spends the rest of the trip trying to sell you on his pyramid scheme.

Man, I could go on and on. Love this thread

If you go to work and try to sell coworkers on anything... you're a tool.

I have seen plenty of those JetBlue guys. Must be a company/culture thing? Bring the "cool" to work. Love this thread BTW.

May have been said already, but how about the businessman in the nice suit that talks on his cell phone while standing at the urinal or sitting on the throne. "Hi Susan, it's Bob. It's (grunt) great to talk to you."

The captain who blows one of those train whistles and says, "All aboard!" at the end of his pax brief. Yes. I've heard it.

I flew with him a couple of times when I was on reserve in the MD-80. Nice guy, but the first time I witnessed his pax brief, all I could think was: a train whistle? Really?! I figured out pretty quickly why a lot of guys on reserve flew with him.

Hahahahahaha! I will NEVER understand how someone can have a business call while they're on the can. :D
