Yea I had an easy ride to getting hired. Barely qualified with thousands of hours, TPIC, multiple types, company instructor, and board member of non profit organization along with years of showing face at job fairs. Completely under qualified compared to my class mates.
(sarcasm for those who don’t pick it up) I know plenty of minorities still getting overlooked. Doesn’t seem all that easy for them lately.

No one is talking about stealing jobs etc. I’m a white male, I feel no guilt or shame because of it so quit jamming this bs down my throat.

Also the pool of available candidates has it's roots in grade school... who was interested in aviation. The fact that young white guys have a cultural affinity for airplanes determines the demographics of the pilot pool.
The issue then becomes how do you select from the pool of QUALIFIED candidates most of whom are white men. Not because other people can't be qualified, but they choose to do other things in life.
