Obviously there are things we do not want to discuss on this public forum. Also follow the rules, no names unless publicly well known. No slander. Etc. Pretty common sense. Moderators are pilots who volunteer their time. None of us are perfect, but they do a very admirable job, usually get involved when someone really steps out of line.

There are everyone from students who are working on their private license to retired grey beards. Mostly commercial pilots. A handful of others that work or sit outside of the cockpit. So, all question and comments are welcome, except for those answered on the same thread a page ago, or trolls (not very many of the latter, unliked other social media.)

Hello All,
I am former Naval Aviator (F/A-18E CAT 1) transitioning back to the private sector after ~5 years away from aviation. I'm instructing at the local Part 61 school while waiting for my EOS and then on to a carer position (I hope).

Some smart arse raises his hand and says "Yeah, what kind of jet is that?"
Try to get into something turbine, that's better for currency with the airlines.
Greetings,
Airline pilot with 2200 total hours, flying a regional jet as a First Officer with goals of flying for a legacy/major/national/cargo airline. Also an A&P if anyone ever needs a hand with their bird, especially in South Florida. Current Marine, previously an AV-8B Harrier Mechanic/Plane Captain/CDI, transitioned to ANGLICO/artillery Ammunition Chief.
