Default Hey Pilots New Account, Question here!?

Hey Pilots,

First of thank you very much for the fine job you always provide.

Ive always had a question, as someone whos always been into UFOs. I always wanted to ask how common are first hand UFO sightings up above the clouds.

Im aware airline pilots report back to ground control on the matter and often times go unreported. Or uncommented on.

From ground level, I always look up at the night sky and see things I dismiss or call satellites.

Am I really wondering as a collective how common these events really are if any.

Thanks for reading,
D

Default Hello

I am 21, born in raised in Fresno CA, living in Las Vegas NV. I am active duty Air Force and am currently aspiring my Airline Pilots License and hopefully fly for a major corporation in the future and base out of california or Japan. I have about 4 years left in my contract, and I'm looking in to this now so I can gain as much knowledge and best prepare myself for the future. I am pursuing my degree in civil engineering as my backup plan, although I was told not to do that because both career fields require a lot of dedication and time, balancing them can be an issue. Feel free to input your opinion, thats what I am here for.

I think so, but you might want to try the UAL forum.

Hi all, I've just recently obtained my Commercial Multi ticket and am halfway through CFI before knocking out CFII. Looking at time building jobs in the northeast (Delaware area). Oh and while COVID was just starting to hit (and training slowed), I knocked out all of my writtens and became an AGI/IGI. The outlook is getting better but I'm always looking for good opportunities to differentiate myself even just a little bit.

Hi my name is Eduardo. I am new to the site. I am just starting out. I have logged 20.9 hours. I train in a Cessna 172S. My goals as I work towards my vfr, ifr, commercial and cfi ratings are to fly all types of airplanes including low wing, multi and seaplane. I'm also looking to some experience in aerobatics. And after I get my commercial and cfi rating I hope to instruct and follow the best path that will get me the hours I need to fly for the airlines. Suggestions for after commercial and cfi are greatly appreciated. I would love to hear from other Pilots and the types of jobs that they have.
