Hi all,
I am a 51 year old who is eligible for retirement from a non-aviation field looking into a 2nd career as a pilot with the airlines. I have the required minimum total time of 1500 hrs from working as a part time CFI for the last 15 years. Just looking for some information and guidance on making the best decision regarding this career path.

retired USAF. flew tanker & airlift w/a tweet tour thrown in. had a significant gap since last usaf flight and getting back into it thru GA. Have a CJO w/a regional and hope to start training in June once I leave my current job (govt, non-flying).
I am going to bow out, at least for a little while. May pop back in, someplace down the road.
Getting married, buying a house. In a couple of years, my wife's business is plannng on buying a Challenger 3500. I am fully retired. Will sit in the back.
