Hello, I'm new to the forum.
I am currently an Air Hostess for a major airline in Australia and have decided that I want to further my career and become a pilot.
I'm very excited and start January 2015, my fiancé is currently in the Air Force and he's helping me with BAK.

Hello all,
Just registered after being referred here by many more experienced/smarter folks than myself.
I'm a Navy helo pilot now assigned as a T-6A IP. I've got about 8 months left this tour, and will be doing my non-flying final tour, and I should be getting out within the next 3 years (as soon as they let me), but no earlier than April 2017. I'm just trying to get the ball rolling and figure out what I'm up against in this dynamic market especially given the new FAR change for ATP.
I've got about 1900TT (I'll have over 2.2K by the time I leave).
50multi PIC (60 total multi)
about 600 helo (who cares), and the rest fixed-wing
I'll have about 1200 turbine IP (PIC) time fixed wing and a couple hundred more in turbine helo PIC.
I've got my multi-ATP, CFI, CFII, MEI, CFI-H, CFII-H, AGI, IGI ratings.
I'm curious how I get an airline gig as a helo guy (albeit with a multi-ATP and 60 multi hours) and the turbine IP/PIC time I have. Has anyone else here followed that path? What do I need to do in the next 3 years to get hired by an airline? Is a path through instructing/regional inevitable or are there majors that might take into consideration my experience/ratings?
I've got a BS in engineering 3.45GPA and working on my masters in aviation safety/human factors 4.0.
I'm here to read, learn and listen! Thanks for the help, in advance.

Hey everyone! I'm currently active duty AF, about to transfer to the reserves (if AFPC ever gets off their butts and approves my palace chase) and looking to get a civilian job flying for the airlines.
Currently an instructor in GVs and GIVs, and previous KC-135 IP/EP. Total time about 3500 and PIC about 2250.
All my apps are in, just waiting for a call or email.
I'm here for advice and to learn something, and maybe waste some time.
