Default Pilot shortage (video)

Like all other sections in corporate America, airlines included, things will never change as long as there are people willing to work for next to nothing. Like I stated before, not just the airline sector, the education sector is just as bad if not worse. As professionals, professionals should be compensated as such.

Only if the professionals demand proper compensation. This is our fault- we have all taken the bad pay in search of the payoff. I hope we re learning or it will continue during the so-called shortage.

Yes! I think you, Rickair, and myself are singing off pretty much the same sheet of music here. I hope the members and lurkers here take note and make better financial decisions about their educational, personal spending, and career goals.

Also, has anybody else here heard about the law school students who are suing their alma mater? I guess they are pizzed off about their school making grandiose claims in regard to career placement and earning expectations... How poetic is that?!

(Though there probably should be more due diligence on the part of the students regarding educational and career research.)

One thing is for sure, charging grayhound fares isn't helping things.
