Right now I'm on a smelly bus for $24 trying at 12:45 to get from Newark to laguardia for a 515 show time to work 14 hours and fly 7 legs to end up in godforsaken rural upstate New York tomorrow night for a reduced rest overnight. Last trip a full can of shaving cream emptied in my suitcase and it still has an over powering smell of Gillette. Oh and I haven't eaten in 8 hours. I think myself and about 99% of the guys on here have the right to complain.
Moral of the story: don't pack shaving cream for trips just use hotel soap instead. That and the life of a regional pilot sucks, with which I totally agree, there is nothing wrong with coming on here and complaining. Reading stories of Delta pilots with similar experiences is a bit depressing, if life isn't going to get any better what is the point?

Listen gents, I have had 2 bottles of wine and my dates may not be accurate but my point is, if you have a complaint, offer a solution. Don't just tear the other person apart. Yes I have learked under different names but now I feel it is time to say something. Let us stop complaining and unite and say no to buying EFBS, just don't slam other pilots.

I am so grateful I created this discussion.

What's an 8 year error between friends? Exaggerating to try to make your point more dramatic has no comparison to whining.

I would be so grateful if you guys can stop using profanity from now on. I'm going to let this one go, but no further.

Tiger - I'd lay off the bottles. You've had a bit too much to drink, eh?

Well there you have it, ladies and gents. He's had it tough with all his training paid for, while we worked 9-5 with plenty of free time to spend with our families each and every night.

I'd say quit while you're ahead pal, but it's too late.

Perhaps you should lay off the bottle. I think it is somewhat ironic that you're complaining about everyone's complaining, yet you're not out flying and are instead here talking about it.

The angry 12 at FDX used to spew their poop on flightinfo.com before they moved to APC. It's way more than 12 now.

The fifteen years thing reminds me of that Christopher Walken / Tim Meadows SNL skit about the the census taker...
TM "How many people live in this apartment?"
CW: "Oh, I don't know, 80"
TM"Eighty people live in this apartment?!"
CW: "I guess I over shot it."
