I have been on this forum for over 15 years and am constantly amazed at the *****ing between members. While I understand different points of view but the constant verbal fighting does not help us as community as a whole. Maybe I am naive and I will accept that, but the way you tear each other a part is unprofessional and to someone looking for info, makes it difficult. If you disagree do so in a respectful way. Insults and denegradetions don't serve any of us. We are to share info and I am tired of the childish "slams" and personal attacks. Lets elevate the discussion to a point that helps pepple, gives them the info they need to make their own decision. I rarely input because the discussion is way below what I would expect from professionals. I can ***** about anything but I have 23 yrs of service in the military and it sucks. But I don't complain because they gave gave me all of my training for free. Yes you may have worked your way up through CFI to commercial to ATP but you were home every night. No 6 month deployments, no being away from your family for extended periods of time, and no overtime doesn't count. Just give your professional opinion and leave it that. Please for the sake of the newbies. Stop whining! We have the best job in the world!

Quit b****en about someone's b****en! You're part of the problem!
You ***** about someone on here, most ***** about people at work. Tomato tomahto.
I'm well aware we have the best job in the world, too bad the fact that we get absolutely **** on doesn't help!
Ps- 15 years is impressive. Are you claiming top seniority? I want a weekends off forum schedule, too hard to keep up with all the tools.

Complaining is an integral part of this career. It's something we all do. It's something we all enjoy. It's something we all share in common. It's a bonding activity that increases comraderie and brings us all closer whether we agree or disagree on the subject. If you don't like it, that's fine, but then why waste "15" years of your life on here?
