Agree. I saw an FA with a super old B&R the other day. It looked like a new bag next to the captain's sloppy LW.

Also agree. A good bag for the price.

What size would you recommend on any of these bags?

From the look of most 5+ year old Luggageworks bags I'd say, no, it hasn't lasted. It looks awful and needs replacing.
You have obviously never used a Luggageworks bag.
They probably look frayed because these bags get used and abused. I had a ORD ramper manage to bend the steel frame on my bag. No worries, I sent it back to LW and had it refurbed. It came back looking like a new one. I have had then same bag for 12 yrs now

I have tried other bags and I keep coming back to my LW bag. Yes it is heavy but can take abuse. Wait till you have one of those cheap-o bags fail on you at the beginning of a 2 week trip.

A friend of mine who flies for Southern Air Cargo uses a wheeled, hard-sided Pelican roll-aboard, I thought that was novel.

Thanks guys, I looked around for all these bags on the internet, I have found site about best luggage brand it seems OK, with reviews and everything. Now, I am thinking between Briggs & Riley ( I know about them) and Costco (I haven't heard that one).
What do you think which is better?

Macy's sells a variety of suitcases. I recently purchases a softside called Tumi there. It was new, but marked down 50% because someone had purchased it online and then returned it to the local macy's which is where I found it. I also was able to use a 25% coupon. $600 suitcase for $200. It is a small rollaboard with a nice hook for a flightcase.

By far the best bag EVER! My first lasted 10 years and I just bought another one....I'll never buy any other bag.
