I'd imagine the merger announcement has some people backing out and some people desperate to get on earlier. Not sure what camp is larger. But independent of that, somebody who would have gotten cleared this past Friday (pre-announcement) should have been told to expect a class in the ballpark of April

 

all new hires have a 2 year aircraft lock once training is complete. That’s not gonna change. Everything is status quo. Hiring will continue as planned. The vacancy that closes on the 15th was mostly for Amazon flying. 12 captain and 20 First Officers. I would expect the captain side to be filled with current pilots on property. FO will probably remain mostly for new hires on the freight side.

Anyone know when the next class is?

 

seems like they’ve been hiring like gang busters since this summer, most fleets get choke reserves. Probably preparing for any new hires heading to other places with the merger announcement

Don't know the exact date but the next class is January and has been finalized with 4 pilots. Seems like they have pretty consistently been running 1 class per month, usually with around 10 new hires
