They've told the A330 pax guys in my class that they are seat locked from getting the freighter. The vacancy bid may say something different when the results come out, though. We are hearing that the next freighter class will be early next year. Your CJO is good for a year. If you really want a freighter, you can defer until it's available.

So I went through the CJO process and, I believe, completed it. But when I emailed to tell them my earliest start date I requested the first available cargo class, I really never heard anything back after that.
For any one else who expressed a preference for freight, have you heard anything at all from Hawaiian about what they thought was a timeline for a class date?
And for anyone who is at Hawaiian who might have an insight on this, if it turns out they fill all the Cargo class spots and have people left over with CJO's, do those CJO's expire after a year?
I don't want to seem overly pessimistic, but if they staffed 4 330 freighters with only 7 new hires, then it seems like they might staff the next 6 without dipping very deep into the supposed 40-50 people they've hired for the freight operation. Which is what an earlier poster had stated.
Any one who has any insight on how the recruiters are going to handle this, or how many people they think they are going to hire for the freight operation, I appreciate any opinions you can offer.
