You have a 330 seat lock for 2 years, but it does not prevent a 330 pax pilot from bidding freight (it’s the same equipment subject to the same seat lock). There is a completely different 1 year freight lock, that prevents a freight pilot from bidding back to the pax side regardless of equipment seat lock.

It certainly doesn’t hurt, but not going to carry a lot of weight.

For any one else who expressed a preference for freight, have you heard anything at all from Hawaiian about what they thought was a timeline for a class date?

And for anyone who is at Hawaiian who might have an insight on this, if it turns out they fill all the Cargo class spots and have people left over with CJO's, do those CJO's expire after a year?

I don't want to seem overly pessimistic, but if they staffed 4 330 freighters with only 7 new hires, then it seems like they might staff the next 6 without dipping very deep into the supposed 40-50 people they've hired for the freight operation. Which is what an earlier poster had stated.

Any one who has any insight on how the recruiters are going to handle this, or how many people they think they are going to hire for the freight operation, I appreciate any opinions you can offer.
This new vacancy shows 2 open spots for freighter. With our new contract, the company can run numerous small vacancies to control the training flow. We all expected to see more freighter vacancies on this vacancy, but I'd expect the company to put another one out once they get a clearer picture of when the remaining 330Fs are arriving.

I was told that I was one of 30 in the pool for the 330F last month.

Default SSN

Hey guys,

How is class seniority determined in Indoc, is it from low last 4 digits of SSN 0000 to 9999 , or is seniority determined in reverse?

Asked and answered upthread. Low numbers are more senior.
