Aloha used operate 737 pax birds as freighters at night. Normally four at night. Conversion was quick about 20 minutes.
Seats went back in in the morning.
They also had a couple of 300 or 400 series with doors as ell, except they had crack issiues due to the aftermarket cargo door installations.

Can't say what caused it, but being a wrench we would open up the panels on the right side below the main deck floor so QC could do NDT testing.
Someone had told me it was because Boeing designed the aircraft to have some flex in it, but the door installations all the airframe stiffening led to the cracks.

You could probably solve that with some stiffeners in the shape of a door frame opposite the actual frame.
Modern computational analysis should be able to predict such potential issues.

If the hiring plan for the year was 50, and there's already been classes of 12 in Jan and 19 in Feb, does this suggest that they've revised hiring for the year upwards. Or is it just frontloaded into the first half of the year?
