It's their shiny new toy, not at all surprised they'd repaint them.

How long until we hear from the SLI should be determined by paint job people. I’m ready to hear the legal argument for no fences on alaska painted planes

Any one share what the pairings/trips look like with the SEA-NRT or NRT-SEA leg? Length in days, legs flown/DH, credit, TAFB, layover length etc.

5 day (HNL-SEA-NRT-SEA-HNL). RO is deadheaded back and forth to Seattle but the rest of the crew operates it. 12 hours in Seattle, 24 hours in Narita, and then almost 24 hours in Seattle on the way home. Worth around 30 hours.

30 hours doesn’t seem fantastic for a 5-day. What’s the TAFB/trip rig?

New Vacancy Bid award shows about 70 new hire slots spread across the fleets. Most 717 and 321.

I’m not looking to commute, but would need a block of at least 9 days off every other month to get back to see my kids in east Asia. As a new joiner (after being checked to line) is this realistically achievable right now, especially on the short haul fleets? Thank you for any input.

I don’t think even the old guard are that dumb, but I’ve been surprised before. There’s already a small group that think SEA 787s shouldn’t be fenced.🙄
