Question: is it possible after a year or so to bunch trips up to get 8-10 off the end of a month and the same to start the next? In the summer as well.

As you elude to, this would depend on seniority. I do know some more senior Hawaiian pilots that do exactly this. It can be done and can yield an approximate 40 days on / 20 off type schedule.

I’ve been trying for that ever since but having weekends off will require considerable time and seniority.. Don’t plan on having ten days off in a row anytime in the first year..

Or just bid reserve and ask for 12 off at the end of a month and 12 at the beginning of the next. Line wise it might be doable if you don't care where you fly and are good with flica. After the first year you shouldn't have too many issues assuming the movement continues the way it has on the 330.

Sounds about right, I have heard nothing. Pretty disappointing but I guess it is what it is.

After 40 days straight of inter-island flying, I dont think you will want to do it again.
