Heard they were sending out emails to guys who busted the interview to come back and try again. Must be getting desperate if they're recycling the rejects (myself included).

For what it is worth this comes from an email I recieved from their HR department this past week. Basically asking you to update your app and publish on airlineapps:

"you do NOT have to contact us as we will have received notification of your interest by your updated application and addendum."

I would like to know this also. I did talk to a pilot in the training class last month and most in the class had at least 1200 tt, one around 800 but I haven't heard of anybody really low.....yet.

American Eagle is planning to hire over 675 pilots this year. They have already hired over 300. Plans are to continue hiring well into next year as well. They are hiring into the CRJ-700, EMB-145, and ATR-72. Most new hires are assigned a jet. Junior pilot awarded captain upgrade is an October 2006 hire.

I think with most its been 2-3 weeks. I has 5 because I had some things to take care of. That is IF all your paperwork comes back very quickly and you do NOT hide anything. They have been pulling people out of the middle of class for something that came back in their records that they didn't disclose. Most of the people I interviewed with are in the class 2 weeks ahead of me.
